What a Digital Project Passport actually contains
A Project Passport is simply the whole story of a job in one organised place — created as you work rather than reconstructed afterwards.
What goes in it
- Contract, scope and agreed payment stages
- Dated site evidence for each stage, including concealed works
- Variations with prices and written agreement
- Certificates, notifications and inspection records
- Stage verification records where used
- Handover pack, warranties and maintenance guidance
Why it wins work
Customers comparing quotes cannot judge workmanship from a price. They can judge whether a contractor documents properly. Showing a passport from a previous project is one of the strongest trust signals available at quotation stage.
Why it protects you later
If a question is raised years after completion, a passport answers it with dated evidence rather than memory. That is often the difference between a five-minute reply and a costly dispute.
